After breakfast, your private guide and driver will pick you up and take you on a scenic journey to the Balinese countryside. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by the local community. Your guide will then lead you on a gentle walk through the rice fields, where you can observe the traditional rice cultivation process, local vegetable and spice gardens, and the lush surrounding landscape. You will also learn about the Subak irrigation system — a unique community-based water management system that ensures fair and harmonious water distribution among farmers.

During this visit, you will also have the chance to see how local customs shape everyday life in the village and try your hand at creating the daily Balinese offering made from coconut leaves and fresh flowers.

The experience continues to a traditional Balinese house compound designed according to the Asta Kosala-Kosali principles, which guide the building’s layout and function to achieve balance and harmony in living. Here, you will join a hands-on cooking session in a traditional Balinese kitchen. Learn how to prepare authentic Balinese dishes and desserts using locally sourced ingredients and aromatic spices such as galangal, turmeric, ginger, aromatic ginger, chili, and more. Each dish is made in the traditional way, passed down through generations, with care and cultural meaning.

After the cooking session, enjoy the dishes you have prepared, served as your lunch in a serene village atmosphere.

What to Wear & Bring:
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we recommend wearing a hat, comfortable walking shoes, and casual clothing suitable for warm weather. Don’t forget to bring your sunglasses and apply sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun. It is also useful to carry some local cash for small purchases, along with your personal essentials.
